we’re firm believers that when you feel good, you look good, which is why we consider personal TLC time nonnegotiable. unfortunately, most of us only take time to pamper ourselves before a big event or night out, making excuses for other priorities. your body is your temple and if you take care of it, it will take care of you

these are our go-to beauty essentials when it comes to pampering…

morrocan oil restorative hair mask– it isn’t a true pampering day if there’s not a hair mask involved. this mask literally reverses damage done to your hair, and by damage, we mean anything- see vid here for when ry chemically straightened her hair and this mask saved the day. apply after shampooing and leave on 7-10 min. finish with your regular conditioner to seal it in (see more on Ry’s hair care staples: here)

sheet mask– this is a weekly must for us. sheet masks are packed with nutrients and make such a difference when you take the time (15-20 min) to really let your skin absorb them. this step is critical for achieving a radiant, glowing complexion

whitening strips– this is also a must-do on a pampering day. there’s nothing prettier than a smile with beautiful, white teeth. we swear by these crest whitening strips. one thing to note: they can make your teeth extra sensitive to hot/cold, so only use every 2-3 weeks to avoid irritation

tinkle razor– always make time to nix the hair. we’re obsessed with these razors because they not only get rid of the “peach fuzz,” but also make our makeup go on flawlessly. trust us, your makeup application will never be the same (see how to face shave: here)

dry brush– it’s just as important to exfoliate your bod as it is your face. we try to dry brush 2-3x/wk pre-shower. it increases blood flow, which helps reduce the appearance of cellulite. it’s also a great tool for lymphatic drainage (how to dry brush: here)

body firmer– it goes without saying, but you should always slather your bod with a quality moisturizer post-shower. body firmer is packed with antioxidants, aloe vera, and essential oils to nourish and refine your skin

under eye mask– if you’ve had a tough week and didn’t get enough sleep, be sure to give your eyes some TLC. we love using these masks to hydrate and brighten the skin under our eyes
